Nyx Workman and Jason Mayles never imagined their lives would change forever with a simple Reddit post. In December of 2023, their shared interests brought them together online, and from the very first conversation, it was clear they’d found something special. Their connection was instant, and over time, it grew into a bond neither had thought possible.

By the following spring, Nyx packed up their life and moved to Ohio to start a new chapter with Jason. From late-night gaming marathons to sharing their love of computer science, books, and alt-rock playlists, they’ve built a life filled with joy, laughter, and love.

For both, the idea of “soulmates” once seemed like a romantic fantasy reserved for fairy tales, but meeting each other changed everything. They’ve found a connection so profound it feels almost telepathic, and for the first time, they believe they’ve truly found “The One.”

Their little family grew with the addition of Bennington, their beloved dog who has a knack for making every day brighter (and more fun). While Bennington holds a special place in their hearts, their love for each other remains unmatched.
